Position Specification

As a Senior Consolidation & Reporting Manager you are mainly concerned with consolidating, validating, analyzing and interpreting a wide range of financial information from our international operating companies. You are keen to understand business drivers impacting the numbers and capable of converting large amounts of information into insightful management reports with clear explanations. You are knowledgeable about the latest tooling used for consolidation & reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consolidation of multi-year financial plans, annual budgets and rolling forecasts, translated into insightful and to the point information for the Board of Directors and Supervisory Board
  • Consolidation & preparation of monthly and quarterly financial results reports, including explanatory notes and detailed understanding of the underlying business
  • Initiating and carrying out financial/business economic analyzes and ad-hoc investigations.
  • Responsible for maintaining Corporate Treasury & Cash Management activities: monitor cash-positions and capital allocations within the group, monitor bank-application authorizations, initiate payments, support in re-financing projects when applicable
  • Preparing several (draft) corporate and management Annual Reports at multiple levels in the organization, lead the audit process with our external group-auditor
  • Prepare the corporate tax return including supporting documentation together with the external Tax-advisor
  • Maintaining our Group Accounting Manual and Transfer Pricing Documentation
  • Maintain current reporting applications and develop management reporting to the next level, by using appropriate tooling (Thinkcell, PowerBI) on monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Participate in cross-functional improvement programs such as our ERP implementation
  • You coach and develop junior team members on their responsibilities and results

Required Professional Experiences

  • HBO in Economics or equivalent
  • >5 years working experience in Financial Accounting & Consolidation
  • Strong analytical skills, sound understanding of management reporting and reporting systems (ERP, IBM COGNOS or similar and PowerBI)
  • Experience in working with international teams & different cultures
  • Fluency in Dutch and English is an absolute must
  • Experience in or affinity with agriculture is a pre

  • Pro-active self-starter, accurate, service oriented and a team-player
  • A clear and effective communication style, able to absorb feedback and take ownership
  • Ability to work under time-pressure and set priorities, flexible attitude is key
